Covid-19 Vaccine invention in India paves way for transforming Challenges into Opportunities for Nation’s Welfare; Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India
By Inventing Covid-19 Vaccine India paves way for transforming Challenges into Opportunities for Nation’s Welfare said Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, at an interactive session organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its Managing Committee Members to enlighten on governments plan and policies to a successful vaccination campaign.
From the times when we were fearing the economic activities coming to a complete standstill and apprehensions of the economy moving towards a complete halt to now, when India is one of the leading countries in Covid – 19 Vaccine production, under the leadership of our Hon’ble PM and the support of the citizens is a step forward towards ‘aapad se avsar mein badlne ka vishwas’ and time of victory for each Indian, added Shri Choubey.
Mr Sanjay Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while introducing Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey thanked him to take out time during these crucial times for addressing the Managing Committee Members of PHDCCI today.
Mr Aggarwal lauded and appreciated the Minister of State’s initiative to have built 11,000 toilets for minority and Below Poverty Line families under Swachh Bharat Mission. A slogan “Ghar-ghar me ho Shouchalaya ka Nirman, Tabhi hoga Ladli Bitiya ka kanyadaan” given by the Hon’ble was a hit in Bihar and people from all caste and religions have availed government subsidy to build toilets in their respective homes.
Other initiatives by the Shri Choubey Ji, like the National Level Mega Health Camps called Swasthaya Mahakumbha Melas & District, Sub-centre level Health Camps called Swasthya Kumbh helping more than 3 Crore people; Awareness Programmes for clean drinking water and for Swach evam nirmal Ganga and Awareness Programmes to reduce tobacco consumption -choose health; not tobacco – for fighting Cancer, among other are highly laudable, added Mr Aggarwal
While Thanking the PHDCCI for inviting him time and again for addressing its members and participants, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India lauded the biggest Covid-19 vaccination drive inaugurated by our hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.
The invention of the vaccine has brought laurels to our Nation from across the globe the countries of the World are queuing up to buy the Indian COVID-19 Vaccine, which is a moment of pride for each of our citizen, said Shri Choubey.
He lauded our Prime Minister’s leadership for leading from the front to spread positivity and urging to aim towards Aatmanirbharta, Self Confidence and Self-sufficiency which led to eradication of disruption caused in the Nation and its citizens during initial time of the widespread Covid – 19 pandemic.
According to Shri Ashwini Kumar, Hon’ble PM bonded us with One Nation One Voice to sustain Aatmaanushan to overcome which the people of India strictly followed under its leader and came out victorious, especially in time when the big economies and Powerful Nations like USA were sliding and became victims of the deadly virus spread, completely distorting their economic activities and increased deaths of its citizens.
While appreciating PHD Chamber and its members for their support PM’s vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Shri Choubey said initially India didn’t even have PPE kits for its doctors and medical health workers, we had to import them from China, but with the help of India’s business houses and textile manufacturers, who had put in all their efforts and expertise, India started manufacturing PPE kits and masks domestically and today , we not only manufacture them for domestic consumption but also export them with new innovations to it.
Shri Choubey congratulated India’s win through effective discipline of citizens by following its leader’s Vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and robust administration policies adopted in early January, 2020 towards widespread information to respective State Govts pertaining to COVID-19 guidelines to curtail the spread of the virus and maintaining a low mortality rate.
Highlighting India’s vaccination drive as a big achievement and stating it as a victory for India’s present and future, the Minister of State saluted the efforts of scientists and entrepreneurs towards invention and supply of Covid-19 vaccine along with India’s supply of the hydroxychloroquine drug to the World along with catering to its own domestic demand for it and setting up an example of One World One Home.
Shri Choubey enlightened the members about the Govt’s target to vaccinate 30 crore citizens in 2 phases with the mission of Prevention and Cure for All. He also mentioned about PM’s declaration of 1,70,000 crore fund allocation to underprivileged population and 20 lakhs crore package by the Hon’ble Finance Minister as a big boost to all sectors of the economy and an imperative step towards higher economic growth. He also stated confidence on conquering over Covid-19 like previous eradication of deadly diseases.
While concluding his remarks, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey emphasized on the involvement of taskforce of the Ministry, PMO and other adjourning forces towards successful vaccination drive and paved confidence of inculcation of other vaccinations being added to the portfolio in upcoming months. He requested everyone to walk together as One Nation to overcome this pandemic and requested businesses and industrialists to be leaders in making India a Corona Free Bharat.
Mr. Pradeep Multani, Senior Vice President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while delivering a formal vote of thanks appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in establishing effective policies and guidelines for safety precautions to be undertaken by the citizens. He lauded India’s effective administrative policies undertaken during Covid-19 phase and thanked the Minister of State for enlightening and guidance over the Govt’s Vaccination Drive.
