PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry launches Digital Platform for Issuance of Non Preferential Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-COO)
Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched the PHDCCI digital platform (www.phdccics.in) for e-issuance of non-preferential certificate of origin on Monday, 2nd November 2020 through video Conferencing.
While launching the digital platform he highlighted that PHDCCI is one the oldest and leading agency authorised by the Government of India to issue Non-Preferential COO’s, it issues close to 50,000 COO annually to Indian export houses. The e-platform will seamlessly issue COO’s to export houses at the comfort of their office or home while reducing the transaction cost of exports to the companies.
Mr. Parvinder Singh, Member, PHDCCI and Managing Director, Hans Informatics, the developer of e-COO portal acknowledged the opportunity provided by PHDCCI in partnering and developing the unique services to be offered to the Indian Exports. The portal has been extensively designed keeping in view the requirement of the exporters.
Mr. Pradeep Multani, Senior Vice President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Saket Dalmia, Vice President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry touched upon the reach that the portal will provide to the Indian Exporters all over India including the exporters in remote locations of the country.
Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry while delivering the Vote of Thanks said that the services are available for both member and non-member companies and across India and PHDCCI remains committed in offering the best of the services to the Indian exporters to increase the overall export from India.
