Global Summit on ESG Advancement: Innovations Driving Sustainability “Uniting Leaders for Business Integrity” 

 

PHDCCI, in collaboration with The UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI), the local branch of the United Nations Global Compact, New York, organized the – ‘Global Summit on ESG Advancement‘, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at PHD House, New Delhi.

Under the theme ‘Innovations Driving Sustainability “Uniting Leaders for Business Integrity’, this summit aimed to tackle current sustainability issues and provide an excellent platform for uniting leaders from across the sectors to learn, share, and discuss their relevant knowledge and innovations to ensure good governance, ethics, and integrity in businesses.

The summit envisaged to engage in inter-sectoral dialogue and delve deeply into the ESG principles and their role in driving sustainable development. With participation from over 300 delegates representing the public sector enterprises, private companies, MSMEs, and NGOs, along with Sustainability and ESG practitioners, Healthcare organizations, and Research Institutions, the summit served as a vital forum for collaboration and strengthened collective action among businesses concerning ESG measures.

The one-day summit featured various sessions covering topics such as – Policy Advocacy and Thought Leadership – Shaping the Future of Business; Transparency, Integrity, and Universal Health Coverage to Augment SDG3 Through Public & Private Sector Engagement, and Ethics and Accountability through BRSR Compliance.

Unique features of the summit were:

  1. Launch of Compendium on Best Practices on Anti-Corruption for Healthcare.
  2. Presence of Eminent Governance experts, Healthcare practitioners, Sustainability champions, and thought leaders to share valuable insights and lead the panel discussions.

  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among experts and business leaders.
  • Emphasize innovative practices and strategies for integrating ESG considerations into business operations and investment decisions.
  • Deliberate actionable solutions and commitments to drive global positive social, environmental, and economic impact.
