PHDCCI Delegation Meets Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation to Present Five-Year Roadmap
A delegation from PHDCCI, comprising Dr. Ranjeet Mehta, Executive Director, PHDCCI; Shri Vineet Nahata, Chair, Task Force on Cooperatives, PHDCCI; Dr. Jatinder Singh, Asst. Secretary General; PHDCCI and Shri Rupesh K Pandey, Sr. Secretary, PHDCCI met Shri Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation on 15th March 2024.
The meeting was marked by a significant exchange of ideas aimed at fostering cooperative development in India. The PHDCCI delegation presented a roadmap and planning document to the Hon’ble Secretary that outlined strategic initiatives for enhancing the cooperative sector’s integration with national schemes such as Startup India and the schemes of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The Secretary praised PHDCCI’s efforts in promoting the cooperative sector and its potential impact on the economy and assured the delegation of the Ministry’s full support, committing to the roadmap’s implementation.
