In our Journey to Viksit Bharat @2047 no citizen of India will be left behind; Dr. S. Jaishankar, Hon’ble Minister for External Affairs, Government of India

 

In Viksit Bharat, nobody can be left behind, while understanding that everybody cannot move at the same pace,  we all have to firm up to move forward. It is also important to create a social welfare system, said, Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India while speaking at an interactive session on Viksit Bharat @2047 organised today at PHD House, New Delhi. The session provided insights into India’s future development strategies and the role of governmental policies and affairs in achieving the vision of a developed nation by 2047
Speaking further Mr. Jaishankar added, for this the poverty needs to be eradicated, so far 25 crore people have come out of poverty; 35 crore people have been provided healthcare; Mudra loans have been given to 50 crore people; 10 crore people have benefited under the Ujjwala scheme. He continued, It is a combination of making it easier to do business, reducing the cost of living, creating world-class infrastructure, improving our human resources, giving support to small businesses, and building upon the evolving startup ecosystem. We need to plan for the future, grow today but leapfrog for tomorrow. Preparing for the global workforce is also important given the advantage of demographic dividend that India enjoys today.
Appreciating PM Modi for his policy choices, Dr. Jaishankar added that   facilitating digital technology, and the government’s response in handling the COVID crisis, the China crisis, and India’s stance on Russia and Ukraine, which was in the best interest of India and its citizens.

Shri Sanjeev Agrawal, President, PHDCCI, appreciating Dr Jaishankar’s adapt handling of complex international relations, from advancing our strategic partnerships to navigating geopolitical challenges, has significantly elevated India’s  voice on the world’s stage.
He added that government’s proactive initiatives and policies have been instrumental in driving our nation’s growth which has catalysed significant progress across different sectors paving way for economic resilience and achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The comprehensive support of government has also empowered industries, enhanced infrastructure, and improved the quality of life, paving the way for a brighter future, all this together has been a cornerstone in India’s journey towards growth and prosperity, concluded Mr. Agrawal.

Shri Hemant Jain, Sr. Vice President, PHDCCI, appreciated the hon’ble minister and the government for strengthening India’s presence in the global arena. Urging the Industry to remain steadfast in India’s commitment towards a developed and prosperous nation by 2047.  He added that we must embark this transformative journey together toward Viksit Bharat by drawing inspiration from the insightful deliberation of Dr. Jaishankar at PHD house today.
He added that the government’s vision will guide us as we navigate through the challenges ahead and work together towards the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
