Why Delhi
- Delhi being the capital city of the country is a hub of talent and creativity.
- There are a number of AVGC companies / studios / labs in Delhi NCR which cater to international level assignments
- There are a number of institutions in Delhi NCR which provide courses in multimedia, animation and visual effects.
- So far all big AVGC festivals have been happening in South (Bangalore and Hyderabad) and West (Pune).
- Delhi has several festivals of its own, such as Literature Festival, Film Festival, Spring Festival, Food Festival and even Mango Festival, but there is no Animation Festival in Delhi so far.
- To fill this gap of connecting talent / students on one side with companies on the other which look for the right people to work on their projects, PHDCCI has created Pix-Elated, Delhi’s Own Animation Festival which will be an annual feature from this year onwards.
