Exports growth remains intact despite global headwinds: PHDCCI

Amidst geopolitical headwinds India’s exports grew at 4.8% between April – September 2024. The cumulative exports stood at over USD 393 billion during April – September 2024, representing India’s strong resilience in the global markets, said Mr. Hemant Jain, President, PHDCCI, in a press statement issued here today.

Major drivers of India’s exports growth include engineering goods, organic & inorganic chemicals, plastic & linoleum, drugs & pharmaceuticals and RMG of all textiles, among others, said Mr. Hemant Jain.

As India’s supply chains have become stronger, we expect the export trajectory to perform better in the coming months, said Mr. Jain.
