Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of J&K Shri Satish Sharma visits  PHDCCI-Kashmir Office and  Engages in interactive session with Members 

The  Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Satish Sharma was graciously hosted by Mr A P Vicky Shaw Chairman of the PHDCCI Kashmir , along with the Mr Arshad Nizam Shawl Chairman of the Sports & Entertainment Committee PHDCCI New Delhi and Mr Himayoun Wani along  esteemed Executive Committee (EC) members, at the PHDCCI House in Rajbagh, Srinagar.

The meeting focused on a range of important topics, including Information Technology, Sports, and various Industries. The Chairman provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges currently affecting trade and business across Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the pressing need for targeted support and strategic initiatives.

EC Members contributed valuable suggestions aimed at stimulating employment generation in the region. During the discussions, the Hon’ble Minister listened attentively to the recommendations offered by Mr Arshad Shawl, Mr Himayoun Wani,  Ms. Madina Mir, Er. Pervaiz Kaiser, Mr. Bilal Kawoosa, Mr. Shabir Abdullah, Mr. Shahid Khan, and CA- Anil Sharma, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and respect.

 

During the interaction, Hon`able Minister assured the members of PHDCCI  that the government is focused on improving the living standards of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that priorities will be set to ensure that the region’s resources and facilities are entrusted for the benefit of its residents.

The Hon`able Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for growth and ensuring that the development initiatives are aligned with the needs of the community. The focus will be on utilizing local resources effectively to uplift the lives of the people.

The Hon`able Ministers  proactive approach and open dialogue with members reflect the government’s earnest efforts to build a prosperous and inclusive future for Jammu and Kashmir. The PHDCCI Kashmir  appreciates the Hon’ble Minister’s willingness to engage with business leaders, entrepreneurs and address their concerns, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing the economic landscape of Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting was a productive exchange of ideas and a positive step towards fostering cooperation between the government and the business community.
