Under PM Modi’s vision of a strong India, we are moving forward, and empowering women and children is crucial to achieve his vision of a developed India by 2047. Programs like this give us strength, and awards motivate individuals to do even better. She added, social service is a medium that can transform a person’s journey. Within such welfare organisations, individuals dedicate themselves wholeheartedly—physically, mentally, and financially. I have also worked in this field for education, agriculture, and health sectors. We too have recognized individuals from economically weaker and lower strata of society.

Lt. Gen. Vinod Khandare (Retd.), PVSM, AVSM, SM, Principal Adviser (USC), Department of Defence, GOI, shared his thoughts on hosting events that recognize such creativity. He emphasized the importance of self-reliance and discussed that earlier, there was significant dependency on imports.

The government have realized that by involving the private sector, we can rapidly achieve self-reliance and Atmanirbharta. In 2013, exports in this area were worth ₹600 crore, which have now grown to ₹21,000 crore, further, Hon’ble PM Modi has set a target of ₹50,000 crore. Alongside creating a Viksit Bharat, we must also build a Surakshit Bharat. India should become capable and strong, and our armed forces must be empowered, he concluded.

Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF  informed that today, we recognize and applaud individuals and children for their excellence in promoting innovation especially in this era of women-led development in India.

PHDFWF  has empowered 53,000 women to become atmanirbhar, with 6,000 students enrolled in our programs at any given time.  18.5 lakh patients have been treated so far, with an average of 1,000 women patients receiving treatment daily. Currently, 27 skill development units are operating across India.

She further informed about the upcoming 28th Skill Development Unit of PHDFWF, which will be set up in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, in the constituency of the Hon’ble Minister.
