“Gati Shakti Development Forum”, PHDCCI’s move in the right direction to take lead in contributing to PM’s vision – Mr Multani, President PHDCCI
Working in complete sync with the government and ensuring successful implementation of the government reform measures in the field of infrastructure development, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry takes another step in the right direction and launches it’s Gati Shakti Development Forum, announced Mr. Pradeep Multani, President – PHDCCI.
Understanding the importance of infrastructure development for placing India in the top ranks of the powerful global economies, PHDCCI’s Forum will significantly add value to the GATI SHAKTI initiative of our Hon’ble PM, added Mr Multani.
The forum will support GATI SHAKTI, the Rs.100 trillion Master Plan of the Prime Minister Infrastructure Development program launched in October 2021, with an aim to lend more speed (GATI) and power (SHAKTI) to projects by integrating Infrastructure schemes of different Ministries like Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Inland Waterways, Dry / Land Ports, Railways, Roads & Highways, Aviation, etc.
Mr. Multani said that Last mile connectivity is to be prioritized while developing various Economic Zones, Industrial Parks, Defence Corridors, Agro Zones, etc. to improve their connectivity and competitiveness. The Forum will aim to work with the varied industry stakeholders and the Government to achieve the planned targets and will support the Industry in connecting with the 16 Ministries for the implementation of the projects.
Nation’s strong infrastructure and seamless connectivity will be a leap forward in constructing an AatmaNirbhar Bharat, PHDCCI pledges to be a significant contributor to this development.
