4th Women Astitva Samman 2019 & 3rd Junior Astitva Samman to be held on 15th February at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing its 4th series of Astitva Samman to recognize organizations, NGOs and Corporates as well as entrepreneurs where women have the potential to demonstrate their entire phenomenal leadership skills and are working towards empowering the women workforce.
The Chamber will also give away 3rd Junior Astitva Samman during the occasion to encourage and motivate students that have demonstrated innovations, leading to socio economic upliftment in society in general. The selection for the Samman is drawn from various schools within the Delhi / NCR.
Chairperson, Women and Child Development Committee, PHD Chamber, Mrs Anuradha Goel said in a statement issued here today that the 4th Women Astitva Samman 2019 aims at honouring and recognizing contributions to promoting women empowerment.
She also added that the 3rd Junior Astitva Samman 2019 aims at recognizing and encouraging excellent work done by students towards the betterment of society. The programme will also be followed by a dance presentation “Adhikaar” be performed by renowned Kathak exponent Rachana Yadav and her troupe.
On the occasion, the Samman will be given away by the Secretary General of Rajya Sabha, Mr D D Verma, IAS, AS&DC (MSME) along with Mr Ram Mohan Mishra; Eminent Kathak Exponent Padma Vibhushan Dr Sonal Mansingh in which the President, Sr. Vice President and Vice President, PHD Chamber, Mr Rajeev Talwar, Mr D K Aggarwal and Mr Sanjay Aggarwal will be present.
The Jury Members of Women and Child Development Committee, PHD Chamber are Ms Shashi Tripathi, Padmashree Guru Shovana Narayan, Ms Suneeta Trivedi, Dr. Rashmi Singh, Ms Rajyashree Bajoria, Ms Priya Hingorani and Ms Karuna Shriram among others will also be present during the event.
