PHDCCI appreciates India’s exports resilience, despite headwinds exports grew at more than 5% in June 2024
India’s exports increase significantly despite persistent global headwinds; the June 2024 exports grew by 5.4%, increased to USD 65.4 billion in June 2024 from USD 62.1 billion in June 2023, said Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal, President, PHDCCI in a press statement issued here today.
Both, merchandise and services exports grew at 2.5% and 8.9% respectively in June 2024, he said.
This growth is primarily driven by double digit growth in exports of coffee, engineering goods, electronic goods, and iron ore and robust growth in services, among others, he said.
The total exports during April-June 2024 are estimated at USD 200.3 billion registering a positive growth of 8.6%. We look forward to a great export growth trajectory in the current financial year, said Mr. Agrawal.
