POST BUDGET SESSION OF PHD CHAMBER ON TUESDAY, 6th FEBRUARY, 2018

Government dignitaries and captains of the industry would be addressing members of India Inc. under aegis of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Tuesday on implications of Union Budget-2018 and clarify post budgetary issues some of which the Indian industry is seeking clarity on as also define issues that need corrections and altercations.

The key-functionaries of the Finance Ministry that will interact with members and constituents of the PHD Chamber on both direct and indirect taxations relating to Budget proposals for 2018-19 comprise Secretary (Finance & Revenue), Dr. Hasmukh Adhia; Chairman, CBDT, Mr. Sushil Chandra including Chairperson, CBEC, Ms. Vanaja N Sarma among others.

The Post Budget Interactive Session would be presided over by the President of the PHD Chamber, Mr. Anil Khaitan in which its Sr. Vice President and Vice President, Mr. Rajeev Talwar and Mr. D K Aggarwal including Chairmen, Direct and Indirect Taxes Committee of the Chamber, Mr. Anil K Chopra and Mr. Bimal Jain and its Secretary General, Mr. Saurabh Sanyal will also be present.

Multiple issues are likely to be debated and deliberated upon during the day-long Post Budget Session. Key among them is likely to be the hotly debated issue of long term capital gains tax imposed in the current Budget proposal by the Finance Minister and many such other issues that the industry has been confronting with post Budget and seeking either clarity or solutions, or else relief.
