The People of the State have made an indelible mark on the Tourism Sector. Imperially speaking, it is very difficult to find a Hotel, Resort, Spa or a Restaurant in the Himalayan Regions which does not employ people from the State of Uttarakhand.
Working for the Hospitality Sector came naturally to the Soft-Spoken, Friendly and always welcoming nature of the Pahadi people. The Language and Culture of the state always had a charming effect on the guests. The people of the state had always carried a sense of Pride which is reflected in the low crime rates despite the fact that a large portion of the population lives below the poverty line.
